FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – The French Bulldog “Boba” that was stolen from a home in Selma has been located, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say the puppy has been found and returned to its owner after they say Selma Police came across Boba inside a car during a traffic stop around 1:30 a.m. Friday.

Investigators say around 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, someone stole “Boba” from a home on the 9700 block of S. Shaft Ave after they say the suspect got through a fence in the front yard and took the 2-month-old pup.

The owners did not notice their pet missing until after 8:00 a.m., then called the Sheriff’s Office to file a report.
