FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A bobblehead of Fresno State mascot “TimeOut” was officially revealed on Friday by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.

The bobbleheads, each individually numbered up to 2,024, show TimeOut standing on a base with the Fresno State logo behind his legs. He is also shown wearing a Fresno State jersey.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. The unveiling of a new officially licensed Fresno State bobblehead is the latest item fans can add to their collection,” said Lauren Nickerson, associate vice president of University Marketing and Communications with Fresno State.

The bobbleheads the Hall of Fame created are expected to ship in December at the museum’s online store .

“We’re excited to unveil this new Fresno State Bulldogs Bobblehead in conjunction with the start of the new school year,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “This bobblehead will be the perfect way for Fresno State fans, alumni, students, faculty, and staff to show off their school pride!”

The selection of a bulldog as Fresno State’s mascot dates back over 100 years. According to the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame, in 1921 Fresno State student body president Warren Moody and friends were continually greeted outside the main campus building by a white bulldog and the group decided to make him the college’s mascot. It was in 1981 when the mascot was officially named TimeOut.

The bobblehead version of TimeOut can be pre-ordered here .
