Ahead of the forecast snow, Yosemite National Park announced that Tioga Road, the continuation of Highway 120 through the park, temporarily closed at noon on Wednesday.

A reopening date has not been announced, but park officials say they will evaluate the road again on Thursday morning.

Posts on social media already show that Tioga Pass has been hit by early-season snow.
