    Family business near Porterville catches fire

    TULARE COUNTY, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A fire broke out in a Tulare County business overnight, the Tulare County Fire Department announced on Thursday.

    According to photographs posted by the fire department, the property belongs to L & S Appliance Repair Service outside the City of Porterville near Avenue 152 and Road 208.

    Officials say Battalion 4, Engine 19, Engine 16, Engine 228, Water Tender 20, and Light and Air 1 responded to the blaze with assistance from Porterville City Fire.

    No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported. Tulare County Fire says the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
