VISALIA, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A DUI driver was arrested in Visalia after a crash caused several residents to lose power Monday night, the Visalia Police Department announced.

Police say around 10:20 p.m. they responded to a reported collision with a pole at Douglas Avenue and Enos Street.

Upon arrival, responding officers reported a white Chevy Malibu had severed a telephone pole and caused a power outage.
