When medieval ‘Hanfordshire’ returns to Kings County

HANFORD, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Return to the wonders of medieval history and fantasy at Hanford’s 45 Annual Renaissance of Kings Faire this weekend.

“We have a great lineup of entertainment, food and craft vendors, the royal court and interactive experiences,” said Hanford Parks and Community Services Director Brad Albert.

Officials say there is something for everyone at “Handfordshire” including jousting, jester performances, beer garden, and an artisan market.

Event organizers add the two-day event will take place Saturday and Sunday at Hanford’s Civic Park, and while period attire is not required to attend, it is highly encouraged.

Tickets range from free to $5 and can be purchased here or in person at the event.
