Investigation underway for possible Internet crimes in Reedley

REEDLEY, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A tip for possible internet crimes taking place in the City of Reedley prompted a police response and a search warrant, the Reedley Police Department said.

Police say their Special Response Team served a search warrant in the 100 block of East Manning Avenue in Reedley on Thursday morning.

According to officers, the search was conducted in response to a referral from a federal agency concerning the possibility of internet crimes being committed at the location.

During the execution of the warrant, investigators say they collected several pieces of technology from the home. These items will be thoroughly analyzed as part of the ongoing investigation.

Officers report no arrests have been made in relation to this case at this time.
