    Domestic violence suspect arrested after crash in Yokuts Valley

    YOKUTS VALLEY, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A man who was allegedly involved in a domestic violence incident has been arrested following a crash after he fled from deputies on Thursday, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

    According to deputies, they received a call about domestic violence at 48038 Thunderhill Lane in Yokuts Valley. The man fled the home as deputies arrived.

    Deputies say they pursued him until he ended up crashing his vehicle on Sand Creek Road, near Feather Lane.

    The Sheriff’s Office says his vehicle caught on fire and he ran away at 4:45 p.m.

    Deputies say they surrounded the area and did an extensive search of the area. At around 6:30 p.m., they found him hiding in the bushes not far from the crash. The man was then arrested.
