They discovered that a large party was ending and as people were leaving, a pickup truck pulled up to a 16-year-old boy and someone inside fired a gun at him.

The teen was struck in the abdomen and was airlifted to an area hospital. The sheriff’s office says he is out of surgery and is currently listed in stable condition.

No suspect or truck description has been provided to the media.

Detectives were called out to take over the investigation. They ask anyone with information on this crime to please contact the sheriff’s office at 559-733-6218.
