    Here’s where to have Halloween and fall fun in the Central Valley

    FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Looking for spooky or fall things to do this month? Here’s a list of Central Valley events to get into that spooky or fall mood.

    FRESNO COUNTY

    CLOVIS

    • Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center Pumpkin Patch is located at 85 Temperance Ave., in Clovis. The pumpkin patch will go from Oct. 5 until Oct. 31, and Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center will be open from Tuesday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, click here .
    • Clovis Haunted Trail is located at 1345 N. Willow Ave., in Clovis. This scary, outdoor walking experience is designed to thrill those who love Halloween, according to its website. It opens on Oct. 25 and closes on Oct. 27. For more information, click here .
    • Wild Patch Pumpkin Patch, according to its social media, is a local mom-and-pop pumpkin patch located at 225 W. Bullard Ave., in Clovis. For more information, click here .
    • Halloween Spooktacular is hosted by the Clovis Veterans Memorial District. It will be at 808 4th St., in Clovis on Oct. 21 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be games, creepy crafts and people can get to know their local veterans and community service organizations.     FRESNO

    • Kids Fest is hosted by Fresno Parks and Recreation. The event will be on Oct. 26 at Holmes Playground located at 212 S. First St., in Fresno, from noon until 4 p.m. For more, information, click here .

    REEDLEY

    • Hillcrest Pumpkin Patch is located at 6943 S. Reed in Reedley. According to their website, there’s a $10 entry fee per carload on all weekends. The pumpkin patch is open until Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. For more information, click here .

    SANGER

    • Hobb’s Grove is located at 14265 E., Goodfellow Ave. in Sanger. It includes a forest, hayride, and a house that changes themes each year. It goes from Oct. 4 through Nov. 2. For more information, click here .
    • The Sunflower Farm Stand has fresh produce, pumpkins and flowers. It’s located at 18266 Kings Canyon Rd., in Sanger. They are open Monday through Sunday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. For more information, click here .

    KINGS COUNTY

    HANFORD

    • The Patch is a pumpkin patch located at 10205 Flint Ave., in Hanford. The Patch’s social media says it’s free admission and that there are hay mazes and photo stands. For more information, click here .

    MADERA COUNTY

    CHOWCHILLA

    • Ranch of Horror is celebrating its ninth year in the industry. They are located at 17878 Ave. 24 1/2 in Chowchilla. They will be open until Nov. 2., Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. For more information, click here .

    MADERA

    • Raisin Hell Ranch Haunted Cornfield is located at 7409 Rd 32, in Madera. They will be open until Oct. 31. According to their website, they are closed on selected days. Click here , for more information.

    OAKHURST

    • The Pumpkin King Pumpkin Patch is located at 40004 Hwy 41, in Oakhurst. According to its website, they are open seven days a week. The pumpkin patch is free. For more information, click here .
    • The doors come alive at Fright Night at the Flats at Fresno Flats Historic Village and Park located at 49777 School Rd., in Oakhurst. It will be on Oct. 27 through Oct. 29, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. For more information, click here .

    MERCED COUNTY

    ATWATER

    • Hunter Farms Pumpkin Patch is a pumpkin patch filled with Halloween fun. It’s located at 2895 N. Southern Pacific Ave., in Atwater. For more information, click here .

    LOS BANOS

    • Halloween 2024 Fest hosted by the Los Banos Parks and Recreation. The event will be on Oct. 26 from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the AG Sports Complex located at 700 N. Mercey Springs Rd. For more information, click here .

    MERCED

    • The fourth annual Cops for Critters Car Show for the Merced Police Department will be on Oct. 26, at 611 W. 22nd St., in Merced from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will help raise money for the city’s Applegate Park Zoo. For more information, click here .

    TULARE COUNTY

    DINUBA

    • Dinuba’s Fall Harvest Fling is a family-friendly festival. The festival is free for everyone and will be on Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. The event will be located at 289 S. “L” Street. Click here , for more.

    VISALIA

    • Vossler Farms Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze is located at 26773 S. Mooney Blvd., in Visalia. It will be open until Oct. 31. According to the website, there’s a pumpkin patch, corn maze, “field of screams” and a field of screams and maze combination. For more information, click here .
    • Hannegan’s Harvest Pumpkin Patch and Christmas Trees is located at 2227 E. Noble Ave., Visalia. According to their website, there are plenty of family-friendly activities. Their website does not state when it will close, but for more information, click here .
