FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A longstanding Italian restaurant has closed its doors after four decades in business.

DiCicco’s Italian restaurant in the Ash Tree Plaza on the corner of First Street and Shaw Avenue has closed its doors after 40 years. The restaurant says they have decided to consolidate with their West Shaw location following the closing.

“We are sorry to have had this turn of economy, and we could not be more devastated to have had to make this decision,” reads the sign posted on the door of the restaurant. “We sincerely thank you for your years of loyalty.”
