When is Vallarta’s first store in Clovis opening?

CLOVIS, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – The first Vallarta in Clovis will be opening in less than five weeks, according to the company.

The Clovis store will get a grand opening celebration, with local schools and charities receiving donations from Vallarta. It will be the first in Clovis – the company has three other locations in Fresno County , all in Fresno.

Vallarta officials say that the new store is expected to open on Nov. 13, although the company says that date could still change.

The Vallarta in Clovis will be opening at 170 W. Shaw Ave., in Clovis.

According to Vallarta Supermarket’s website , the company dates back to 1985 when the Gonzalez family opened a Carnicería Vallarta in Van Nuys. The website says it was a small market focused on selling traditional cuts of meats popular in their native Mexico.
