Grand opening for Central Valley’s first Daiso store postponed

VISALIA, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – The grand opening date for the Central Valley’s first and only Daiso location has been postponed until next week, according to Daiso officials.

Daiso officials say they are postponing the original grand opening date which was supposed to be on Oct. 19 and Oct. 20. The new grand opening will be on Oct. 26 and Oct. 27.

Daiso is a store that includes Japanese-inspired home decor, stationary, food and more. The new store is located in Visalia.

According to Daiso officials, the first 100 customers who make a $30 purchase at the location each day will get an exclusive goodie bag.

Daiso officials say the doors open at 9 a.m. on Oct. 26 and 10 a.m. on Oct. 27.

The store hours will be Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The store is located at 4043 S. Mooney Blvd., Visalia.
