    Teens arrested for vandalizing soccer fields in Visalia

    VISALIA, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Two teens were arrested for vandalizing soccer fields at Riverway Sports Park, according to the Visalia Police Department.

    Police say around 1 a.m.,  officers received reports of a truck performing donuts on the soccer fields at the park.

    Officers said they found the truck leaving the park and they made a traffic stop. Police say they contacted 18-year-old Marcos Fernandez Martinez and 19-year-old Pedro Huerta.

    Investigators say they discovered extensive damage to the grass on one of the soccer fields, as well as damaged sprinklers.

    Both suspects were arrested and charged with felony vandalism and conspiracy. They were booked at the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial facility.
