Suspects sought in 2 separate Easton robberies, deputies say

EASTON, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Suspects are wanted in connection with two separate robberies in Easton, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies say two men arrived at Adams Market at 7013 S. Cedar Ave. on Oct. 8 shortly before 9 p.m. on a motorcycle. They entered the store wearing all-black clothing. One wore a motorcycle helmet and the other wore an Ushanka-style winter hat.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the man in the fur hat pointed a handgun with an extended magazine at the clerk and demanded money. After taking the cash and two bottles of liquor, both suspects left on the motorcycle.

A week later on Oct. 15 around midnight, sheriff’s officials say employees at the Valero gas station at 6012 S. Elm Ave., were locking up the front doors when two men approached them. The suspected were dressed in all-black clothing with masks covering their faces. One of those face coverings resembled a paintball mask.

Deputies say the suspects proceeded to demand the workers to open the store, which they were unable to do. The suspects then told them to hand over their wallets and a cell phone and, fearing for their safety, the employees gave the suspects their property. Both suspects then ran away.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office says it is unknown if the two cases are related. Still, they encourage anyone with information regarding the suspects in these cases to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 559-600-3111.
