New health center to arrive to southeast Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Southeast Fresno residents will welcome a new healthcare center before October ends.

Officials with United Health Centers announced the date of the opening of its newest health center in southeast Fresno. The center will be located at 5539 E. Kings Canyon Rd., and will offer comprehensive medical services. It features six modern exam rooms and an on-site laboratory.

Officials say the remodeled 3,005-square-foot center was formerly the Bautista Medical Group and has now become part of United Health Centers.

Additionally, officials say patients do not have to worry about providers because the same providers from the Bautista Medical Group will continue to offer care at the new center.

The Kings Canyon Health Center is scheduled to open on Oct. 21. Its operating hours will be Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., officials say.
