    Several arrested on weapon, drug charges in NY narcotics investigation

    ( WJET/WFXP ) — Several New York residents were arrested for charges including weapon and drug possession after a search warrant was performed in Chautauqua County.

    According to a police report, narcotics investigators from multiple organizations were dispatched to the 160 block of Newton Street in the Village of Fredonia for the search warrant where the following suspects were located inside:

    • 26-year-old Faith Grisanti, of Dunkirk
    • 27-year-old Dakota Cordell, of Fredonia
    • 31-year-old Nicholas Culmo, of Fredonia
    • 34-year-old Brett Plucinski, of Fredonia
    • 36-year-old Joseph Culmo, of Fredonia
    • 63-year-old Richard Culmo, of Village of Fredonia

    After searching the residence, law enforcement found 81.8 g of fentanyl, six handguns, a rifle, 50 suboxone strips, a quantity of oxycodone, scales and packaging material for the sale and distribution of narcotics and $6,170.00 in U.S. currency.

    Dakota Cordell, Faith Grisanti, Brett Plucinski, Joseph Culmo and Nicholas Culmo were all charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

    Cordell was additionally charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and police also learned he had three arrest warrants against him.

    Joseph Culmo also had an arrest warrant from the Village of Fredonia Court.

    Richard Culmo was charged with first-degree criminal nuisance and was released on an appearance ticket, according to the report.

    All other suspects were transported to Chautauqua County Jail for the centralized arraignment program.

    Members of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Dunkirk Police Department, Jamestown Police Department and the Village of Fredonia assisted in this case.
