    Skeletal remains found in Venango County

    Cornplanter Township, Pa ( WJET/WFXP ) — State Police have opened an investigation after a hunter discovered skeletal remains, according to ExploreVenango.

    They say the hunter had found the remains in a wooded area near Colonial Village in Cornplanter Township, Venango County.

    Venango County Coroner Christina Rugh confirmed to ExploreVenango that the skeletal remains were found on the evening of Monday, September 2. The remains are reportedly being sent to Mercyhurst University for analysis. This analysis process should take two to three months.

    What is going on on why would they send they remains to some university to be identified when the coroner office couldn’t it in a timely manner and give closure to a family that’s been waiting for god knows how long if that was me boy I would’ve raising holy war
