    Man arrested with over 100 grams of methamphetamine

    ( WJET/WFXP ) — One man was arrested after being found with over 100 grams of methamphetamine by New York police.

    Ruben L. Medina, 19, was taken into custody after Jamestown police officers conducted a traffic stop on him near the intersection of Falconer and Liberty streets just before 7 p.m. on Sept. 11 as police had prior knowledge Medina had an outstanding violation of probation warrant.

    He was then taken to Jamestown City Jail where police searched Medina’s person and allegedly found 115.2 grams of methamphetamine.

    Medina was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance in addition to the warrant. He is currently being held pending arraignment.
