A Lawrence Park barber’s 60-year career came to an end on Friday.

Dick Mosher, 79, is retiring his shears and celebrating the occasion by enjoying some Mighty Fine Doughnuts with his co-workers.

Mosher is a graduate of J.H. Thompson Hair Academy and spent the last 30 years keeping customers at My Daddy’s Barbershop clean-cut.

He said after giving thousands of haircuts over the decades, it’s time to do some work around the house, but he’ll miss conversations with the customers in his chair the most.

“I really had the best job in the world,” said Mosher. “You like to be good. You get better every day hopefully. (You feel like you’re gonna miss it?) Oh yeah.”

Meanwhile, the owner of My Daddy’s Barber is 86 years old but said he has no plans of retiring ever!
