Some of these people claim they have been living on the street for years. It is not societies responsibility to provided free housing or a place to live. When some can’t work and provided for themselves due to drug addiction or mental illness they need to be hospitalized. Mental illness that is so bad they can’t take care of themselves should be housed in institutions like the past. Drug and alcohol addition should be forced into rehab but not allowed to do what ever they feel like In public lands. If they are from out of state they should be giving vouchers for a hotel and food and put on a bus home.
