Redlands approves Vibe Festival of Wellness
The Redlands City Council unanimously approved the request to hold the Vibe Health and Wellness Festival on Sept. 29 during its July 16 meeting. The event, hosted by the University of Redlands in collaboration with the Alliance for Community Transformation and Wellness (ACTW), will occur in Sylvan Park and the surrounding area. Council approves $549K for tasers
The Redlands City Council unanimously approved a significant purchase agreement with Axon Enterprise Inc., a Scottsdale, Arizona-based manufacturer of energy devices company. The council's decision last month, greenlighted the acquisition of 105 “Taser 10,” a conductive electrical weapon, along with all required accessories under a Master Service and Purchasing Agreement. This agreement totals $549,724.94 and will see the Redlands Police Department (RPD) outfitted with these state-of-the-art devices over the next five fiscal years. Police Chief Rachel Tolber signed the agreement on behalf of the city.
