Warrant issued for woman accused of exploiting elderly woman out of nearly $52,000
NEWKIRK — A warrant is issued for Tammy Dene Jones, 51, Enid, by the Kay County District Court. Jones is facing felony counts of exploitation of elderly and or disabled adult by deception and intimidation and computer fraud and or unlawful use of a computer system. Ponca City police report that Jones is accused of fraudulently obtaining $51,877.94 from a senior citizen.

Not Too Early Big XII Hoops Predictions: No. 12, Oklahoma State
Several Big XII teams may have depth problems this season. Oklahoma State will not be among them. In fact, it is possible the Cowboys could be the deepest team in the conference. The problem will be that there aren't any obviously high-level players on the roster. Sure, a bunch of them should be able to compete reasonably well in the league, but none will be all-conference. The Board of Osage County Commissioners convened for a regularly scheduled meeting at the fairgrounds on Monday morning for a brief and productive meeting. Report: Police force on Black Tulsans far exceeds representation in city
Tulsa police use non-lethal force on Black people far more than anyone else in the city, but TPD officials argue there is legitimacy to when officers choose to use force. The department's 2023 annual report shows 371 verified uses of force during arrests. 176 of these — 48.2% — were on Black people.
