(KYMA, KECY) - A woman robbed a local Circle K gas station, at knifepoint, during the early Wednesday morning hours. </p><p> The Yuma Police Department (YPD) said they responded to the Circle K store, located in the area near W 8th Street and S Avenue B, at around 3:00am Wednesday. </p><p> YPD also said that the suspect entered the store and demanded money while holding a knife. Once the suspect received the cash, which YPD did not disclose how much she took, she fled on foot northbound from the store. </p><nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate><p> YPD's Sgt. Lori Franklin is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect. </p><p> "A female about five foot five, reddish brown hair wearing all black with a black surgical mask type deal, had a black hat on with white sneakers," Sgt. Franklin describes. </p><p> Sgt. Franklin says if you ever happen to witness a similar situation, do not get involved, just call 911. </p><p> "No amount of money or jewelry or anything is worth your life," Sgt.
