Nighttime lane reductions planned for southbound traffic at San Luis I Land Port of Entry

SAN LUIS, Ariz.ㅡ The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announces temporary nighttime southbound privately owned vehicle (POV) lane reductions at the San Luis I Land Port of Entry in Yuma County, Arizona. These partial lane reductions are planned for weeknights from July 22 to August 9, 2024, between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. On these nights, southbound lanes will be merged into a single lane before opening up again as cars approach the U.S. Mexico border. This roadwork is part of the $307.5 million Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) funded port modernization and expansion project that broke ground in June 2023.
