LSU Picked to Finish 5th at SEC Media Days
SEC Media Days have come and gone (wait was that this week?) and now that the circus has left Dallas the media’s preseason predictions are rolling out. If the predictions come true it looks like 2024 will be a good but maybe not great year for LSU. The Tigers were picked to finish 5th in the new-look SEC behind Georgia, Texas, Alabama, and Ole Miss, with the Dawgs and Longhorns predicted to face off in Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game. Sullivan seeing sixth term as Donaldsonville mayor, council turnover coming
Leroy Sullivan is on the ballot seeking a sixth term as Donaldsonville’s mayor, opposed for the second time by Glen Price. Price’s 2020 bid to unseat Sullivan came up woefully short, winning 30% of the vote in a three-candidate election that Sullivan won without the need of a runoff. The challenger would seem to be better positioned than four years ago, if for no other reason than brand familiarity the second time around.
