The Mondavi Center in partnership with The Gorman Museum of Native American Art at UC Davis presents Delbert Anderson, a Diné jazz trumpeter, compose and educator, merging Navajo “spinning songs” with jazz and funk. The 2nd day of the Sacramento Futures Championships saw Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics 16-year-old Kelsey Zhang ripped a new personal best of 4:48.82 en route to winning the women’s 400 IM by a considerable margin. Zhang’s previous best of 4:51.14 was set back in May at the PC SCSC George Haines International meet. Last night, Zhang swam a very balanced race, splitting 1:04.44 on fly, 1:16.99 on back, 1:22.56 on breast, and 1:04.83 on free.
