SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – That was some storm. The meteorological mayhem of Tuesday, August 6 will require more than just a little clean up. As I write I hear buzzing, sawing, rumbling and heavy trucks. I send a mental note of thanks to first responders and neighbors ready to lend a hand no matter the weather. It’s a massive effort – restoring power, making repairs, acquiring lost resources, pondering that split oak . . . the tangle of severed branches on the tree lawn.

Boys Golf finished 1st at the Ryan Reynolds Tournament
The Roughrider boys varsity golf team finished first at the Ryan Reynolds tournament at Cherokee Hills in Bellefontaine with an impressive score of 308. Earning medalist honors for the round was senior Brennan Steger who fired a 72. Braylon Lampert and sophomore Hayden Roby both shot 77. Kadin Behr and Blake Dingledine followed with 82’s. Also competing for the Riders was Joel Kogge who had 93. Riders are back in action on Monday.
