    News of public record: Restaurant inspections from Muskingum County

    The following are restaurant inspections with critical violations, as conducted by the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department, between July 1-19.

    July 8

    Papa John's Pizza, 1434 Maple Ave., Zanesville. Pepperoncini peppers in containers were left uncovered. Pizza sauce was labeled with an expiration date of July 7.

    July 11

    Wal-Mart Supercenter #3581, 2850 Maysville Pike, Zanesville. Laundry detergent was stored above food products.

    July 1 2

    Just 1 More Bar & Grill, 1317 Linden Ave., Zanesville. The ice scoop handle was in direct contact with the ice.

    July `15

    Honeybaked Ham Co and Cafe, 2579 Maple Ave., Zanesville. Mold buildup on the ice dispenser of the soda machine.

    Careytown Child Care, 527 Pershing Road, Zanesville. Raw eggs were stored above ready-to-eat foods.

    Hot Head Burritos, 3217 Maple Ave., Zanesville. The cold holding temperature of the prep table was 43 F.

    Buffalo Wild Wings, 1352 Brandywine Blvd., Zanesville. The prep table was at 44 F.

    Oaks at Bethesda, 2971 Maple Ave., Zanesville. Mold buildup on the ice dispenser.

    July 17

    Horse Shoe Bar & Grill, 213 Main St., Duncan Falls. A towel was stored in the hand washing sink.
