    Things to do: Concerts include Lock 17 at The Barn and Saved by the 90s in Secrest lot

    ZANESVILLE — The Barn is once again home to the rocking sounds of Lock 17. Members of the band based out of Cambridge include Eric Schlosser, Frank Redder, Dirk Keylor, Robbie Hayes, and Asa Shaddix. The band performs a mix of classic rock and current favorites.     Summer concert

    ZANESVILLE — The Secrest Summer Concert Series returns with a performance by Saved by the 90s. Grab your chair and head to Secrest Auditorium parking lot for this free summertime concert on Thursday. The event will also feature DJ Adonis at 5 p.m. with the band taking the stage from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The parking lot show will also host food and drink vendors.     Y Bridge Arts Festival

    ZANESVILLE — According to the Facebook event page, the Y Bridge Arts Festival is Muskingum County's largest annual public event, bringing the best of our area's artists, craftsman, musicians, and performing artists together to showcase their talents. More than 15,000 square feet of outdoor tents, performance areas, interactive space, and area food vendors will converge on downtown. The two-day event will be hosted by the Artist Colony of Zanesville. Transportation among local galleries, unique businesses, and restaurants will be provided during festival hours. The festival is scheduled to take place from 2 to 11 p.m. Friday closing with a performance by Big Fat Dog Blues Band and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday with the Groove Band closing out the event. Matesich Distribution and Weasel Boy Brewing Company will provide the drinks and food trucks will be available. Kids activities are scheduled for both days and include making Mexican tin ornaments, Arabic paper tiles, Polynesian tiki necklaces and American-painted stones.     Farmers market

    Grab your reusable shopping bags and head to the Blue Ribbon Farmers Market. The market will be held weekly from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays through Sept. 28. Head down and pick up some produce, plants, and lunch while you’re there.     Beauty bus

    ZANESVILLE — Grab those little ones and head to the Colony Square Mall parking lot for a chance to meet an iconic Disney princess. Belle will be on-hand, with some help from the Beauty Bus to pamper those littles. For $20, kids can hang out with Belle and be treated to a magical manicure and pictures with the princess. The event is scheduled to run from 11 a.m.to 2 p.m. Saturday. For more information call 740-454-3255.
