DOCUMENTS: Longview shooting death suspects plead guilty, sentenced to probation
LONGVIEW, Texas — Two men convicted of killing a 44-year-old man in 2023 were sentenced to 10 years' probation on Monday after they entered plea deals. Artrell Lee Taylor, 21, and Shannon Tre'Mon Marshall Jr., 23, were arrested in April 2023 for the shooting death of Derrick Spearman. Both men originally were charged with murder, but entered guilty pleas resulting in amendments to their charges.
