JASPER, Texas — At around 9 p.m. East End Volunteer Fire Department was called to FM 1738 in Jasper after a car hit a cow that standing in the middle of the road. The Department of Public Safety is investing the crash. Preliminary investigation shows that a Jeep Cherokee was traveling north on the 1300 block of FM 1738and hit a cow that was on the road.
