Juneteenth celebration in Zebulon June 14-15

District Court Judge David Baker will be keynote speaker at a Juneteenth event Saturday in Zebulon.

A kickoff event June 14 at Zebulon Town Hall will feature music by the Tams. That event is slated for 6-9 p.m.

The June 15 event also is at town hall and will include remarks by Baker, music by the Project 919 band and a car and bike show. The Saturday event is scheduled for 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Both Friday and Saturday will include live music; speeches; food trucks; food, drink and craft vendors; community resources; arts and crafts; and more.

Zebulon Town Hall is located at 1003 N. Arendell Ave. in Zebulon.
