ROCHESTER, Minn.- The city of Rochester approved a resubdivision of Mayo Clinic's West Shuttle Lot 36, on Monday, July 15, to prepare for work on Mayo's West Transit Village. Patrick Seeb, executive director of Destination Medical Center says that the project, when finished, will convert the 13 acre parking lot and surrounding properties into a 16 acre neighborhood at the western end of the city's new Link Rapid Transit system.

As of midmorning, southern Minnesota was still dealing with heavy rain.Rain is still possible in the Twin Cities in the afternoon and evening, but after that, we've got a stretch of dry time lasting the rest of the week.Highs will approach 80 on Tuesday in the Twin Cities and remain similar on Wednesday, then things will start to warm up. Major Utility Work to Impact Soldiers Field Park Starting Friday
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A major utility project that began two years ago is about to have a significant impact on Soldiers Field Memorial Park in Rochester. City Officials today announced that work is scheduled to commence on Friday in the park as the multi-year project to construct a large underground utility duct bank to connect a power substation just off Marion Road Southeast to downtown Rochester moves into its next phase. It's a joint project of Rochester Public Utilities and Rochester Public Works.
