Utahns celebrate 2034 Olympics announcement at early morning Salt Lake City party
Thousands of Utahns gathered at the Salt Lake City and County Building early July 24 to celebrate Salt Lake City’s announced hosting of the 2034 Winter Olympic Games. The decision by the International Olympic Committee to elect Salt Lake City to host the XXVII Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2034 was announced at 4:22 A.M. by vote. The decision came so early due to time differences between Salt Lake City and Paris, France where the committee met.

SHAKOPEE, Minn. — Mike Lindell's MyPillow may dodge eviction from another one of its Twin Cities buildings after a virtual court hearing on Tuesday morning.Delaware-based Exeter Finance filed a lawsuit earlier this month alleging MyPillow is nearly $450,000 behind in rent payments for its Shakopee facility that houses an outlet store and a warehouse. ROCHESTER, Minn. Mike and Abby Rakun are familiar with Rochester as they own the Benedict Heroes Restaurant nearby the Hilton Rochester Mayo Civic Hotel. Now they're going to be opening up Mill Valley Kitchen at 150 South Broadway. They also own a couple other Mill Valley restaurants. Major Utility Work to Impact Soldiers Field Park Starting Friday
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A major utility project that began two years ago is about to have a significant impact on Soldiers Field Memorial Park in Rochester. City Officials today announced that work is scheduled to commence on Friday in the park as the multi-year project to construct a large underground utility duct bank to connect a power substation just off Marion Road Southeast to downtown Rochester moves into its next phase. It's a joint project of Rochester Public Utilities and Rochester Public Works.
