Plenty of beds at Albuquerque Homeless shelter
Recently the Albuquerque Journal had an article discussing the need for a new contractor at the West Side homeless shelter. The article included one noteworthy line which we have highlighted below. According to it on June 20, 2024 the West Side shelter had 170 open beds. Now, thanks to a recent US Supreme Court decision cities are confirmed nationwide to be allowed to clear “homeless” off public rights-of-way and parks and other public spaces.

Sandlot Tulsa set to return to Connie Mack World Series
FARMINGTON – Sandlot Tulsa, coming off a championship game victory Sunday in the AABC Oklahoma Qualifiying Tournament, are headed back to the Connie Mack World Series. Last year under head coach Gunner Glad, the team made their CMWS debut and left quite an impression, beating the Midland (Ohio) Redskins 2-1 in bracket play before eventually being eliminated by the Colton (California) Nighthawks.
