Road Closures in Morristown: Ford Avenue will be Closed Beginning Wednesday May 1

MORRISTOWN, NJ - Ford Ave. will be closed to northbound traffic at Hill St., beginning on Wednesday, 05/01/2024. The closure is part of the ongoing sewer repairs on Morris Street in Morristown.

Motorists should be aware that norbound traffic on Ford Avenue will be detoured to Hill Street, Elm Street and back to Morris Street, announced town officials.

Alternatively, motorists may continue on Franklin St. to Elm St. to Morris St., or use Madison Ave., to Normandy Pkwy. as an alternate.

Southbound traffic, (from Morris St. to Franklin St.,) will not be affected, they said.

"We thank you for your cooperation during the ongoing construction", said officials.
