Mississippi State softball season ends with loss to Cal State Fullerton in NCAA Tournament regionals
STARKVILLE --- Saturday's second day of NCAA Tournament regional play was one to forget for Mississippi State softball as the Bulldogs saw their season come to an end. Hours after losing to No. 8 Stanford earlier in the day, Mississippi State bowed out of the Palo Alto regional with a 7-0 loss to Cal State Fullerton Saturday night.

Pacifica gets its 2nd straight CIF-SS Division 1 softball title
Against the Orange Lutheran Lancers Friday night in the CIF-SS Division 1 championship softball game, the Pacifica Mariners could only manage three hits. But with Brynne Nally in the circle for the M’s that was enough as the West Garden Grove team won 3-0 to earn its second consecutive Division 1 title. It was their ninth CIF-SS title and their third in Division 1.
SBCC standout Ryan Gregory wins State Decathlon
MISSION VIEJO, Calif. - Ryan Gregory won the 3C2A Decathlon Championship at the State Championships meet this past weekend, hosted by Saddleback College. After a 3rd-place finish last year (6,457 points), Gregory admitted to being disappointed in his performance. He left no doubt with his second chance, coming back with a vengeance.
