The 89-year-old Cuyahoga Falls resident had to smile when he read our feature story about local striptease legend Kiki Arnold. Two athletes from Revere High School won the voting for the Summit County High School Athlete of the Week for May 6-12. Paige Kelley is the girls winner and Geoffrey Siess wins for the boys. Kelley is a softball player and Siess is a baseball player. Kelley received 53.07% of the votes cast. Siess received 48.14% of the votes cast.

Pitchers Dual Tilts in Akron’s Favor
AKRON, Ohio – Thomas Harrington tossed four perfect innings for Altoona on Saturday night, but the Curve were shutout in a 4-0 loss to the Akron RubberDucks at Canal Park. Harrington has now tossed seven no-hit innings to begin his Double-A career for Altoona. He retired all 12 batters he faced in the contest with five strikeouts. Anthony Solometo followed with three innings of relief, allowing all four runs in the seventh inning on a pair of home runs and four total hits.
