Two vehicle crash reported in Hayti
HAYTI, S.D.(Press Release)-A two-vehicle collision on Thursday afternoon sent one person to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on the eastern edge of Hayti near 1:30 pm on Thursday, June 27th, 2024. A construction pick-up truck turning left from a South Dakota Department of Transportation driveway onto SD Highway 21 collided with a westbound car. The impact spun both vehicles before they came to a rest.

South Dakota residents are being asked to report flood-related property damage in an effort to secure federal disaster relief funds. Residents and business owners who suffered property loss or damage due to recent flooding can report their damage online at crisistrack.juvare.com/selfreport/sdoem.jsp. The deadline for some areas to submit damage reports is July 12.
