At least a dozen in New York hospitalized in listeria outbreak
NEW YORK – At least a dozen cases of listeria have been reported across New York state in connection to a national outbreak linked to deli meat.The state Health Department said four of those cases were in New York City, two were in Suffolk County and one was in Nassau County. The remaining five cases were located in Cayuga, Dutchess, Greene, Onondaga and Oswego counties.All 12 patients had to be hospitalized. NCPD: Suspect Burglarizes Oceanside Vape Shop After Shattering Front Window
The Fourth Squad reports the details of a Burglary that occurred on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 9:00 am in Oceanside. According to Detectives, Fourth Precinct Officers responded to Oceanside Star Bazzar Vape and Cigar Shop, located at 2947 Long Beach Road, for a Commercial Burglary. Upon arrival it was determined that an unknown subject wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants broke the front window and entered the business. Further investigation revealed that an unknown amount of Vapes were removed from the business. The subject fled on foot through the rear of the building.
