    Man, 23, fatally shot during argument in the Bronx

    NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is investigating after a man was fatally shot following an argument in the Bronx on Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

    Just before 3 p.m., police responded to a 911 call about a person shot at 265 East 176th St. in Mount Hope, police said.

    Upon arrival, officers were informed that 23-year-old Carlos Rivera was shot twice in the chest by an unidentified person after a verbal dispute.

    The gunman fled the location eastbound on East 176th Street.

    EMS transported Rivera to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

    There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
