Whataburger is coming back Tampa Bay!

Fast food chain Whataburger is set to re-open in Tampa Bay, according to a news release. The Texas-based chain, known for its made-to-order burgers and 24/7 service, already has locations in North Florida, including Jacksonville and Tallahassee. This will be Whataburger’s return to the Tampa Bay area after previous locations closed years ago due to apparent poor sales.

During Galvin’s news on The Mike Calta Show, Galvin mentioned that the chicken sandwich from Whataburger is one of the best he’s ever had. Spanish and Geo both described the breakfast Taquitos as “so damn good.” Geo, who’s often called “burger guy” on the show, was particularly excited about the 24/7 options, which would be perfect for the morning show.
