A poolside tequila event at an award-winning winery? Sounds like a great way to get the summer season started!

Chateau Elan, the award-winning winery and culinary destination resort in North Georgia, is offering a fun and sweet summer escape that's only a drive away -- making it perfect for a weekend getaway.

The resort is set to kick off the summer season with their "Tequila Sunset" event on Sunday, June 9th from 6pm-9pm. This poolside tequila experience is perfect for the tequila lover in your fam!

In partnership with Casamigos, guests will have the opportunity to learn about the tequila-making process while enjoying mixology demonstrations by Chateau Elan's top bartenders. You can try different types of top shelf tequila along the way.

Enjoy custom margaritas, live music, and delicious food pairings -- including some tequila-infused dishes, such as the "Tequila Lime Tres Leches" dessert!
