NYPD Arrests 100 Protesters At NYU

About 100 people were arrested as police moved in on protesters at NYU On Monday night.

Cops gave demonstrators a deadline to clear Gould Plaza at the Greenwich Village campus and then began arresting anyone who defied the order. NYU asked the NYPD for assistance, unlike Columbia University which has allowed protests to continue for nearly a week.

That's forced Columbia to move classes online for the rest of the semester.
