Fan Steelers insider Mark Kaboly lands job with Pat McAfee

It didn’t take long for “Kaboom” to land on his feet after losing his job.

Longtime Steelers reporter Mark Kaboly was let go from his beat job covering the Steelers earlier this week, but for every door that closes, another opens.

While speaking to Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith Wednesday, Pat McAfee announced that they have hired Kaboly.

“When you see that Kaboly, you know…destined for success,” said McAfee . “He is available to take other jobs though.”

And, he does have one...with us!

Kaboly is also the 93.7 The Fan’s Steelers insider. He'll be on throughout the season with us.

Mark will be covering the Steelers for McAfee’s show as well as the NFL as a whole.

Smith had nothing but kind words for Kaboly before finding out McAfee has hired him.

“I know he’s highly regarded around here and I know he’s a friend of the program as well,” said Smith.

Before he was officially hired by McAfee, Kaboly was a frequent contributor to the show.
