Downtown Reno is celebrating the opening of a new bar and place to kick back. What is unique about this watering hole is that all the drinks are non-alcoholic!

The 4th Street Brewery & Coffee Bar at 1126 E 4th St Reno, NV 89512.

The bar in every other aspect is the same type as all neighborhood taverns. It has pool tables, a jukebox, video games, and snacks like the local pub on the corner. They also brought live music in to make their grand opening even more special. The only difference is that all the drinks are non-alcoholic.

The owner, Paul Kotler, says he wants people to come and have a good time in a sobriety-safe place. He also says he would like to be able to host sobriety meetings at the bar. His dream is to have comedy, improv, and music shows there as well.

This type of bar is a first for Reno and some say long overdue.

Good luck to the establishment! It is a great idea and as a non-drinker of alcohol, primarily because I have Epilepsy and it doesn't mix well with my anti-seizure meds, I can appreciate a bar where you can drink and drive safely. - H. Mikel Feilen
