ST. LOUIS – Derrick Snulligan, a 61-year-old resident of Velda Village Hills in St. Louis County, Missouri, appeared in U.S. District Court on Monday, facing charges of bank robbery after allegedly targeting three local banks.

Snulligan, also known as Derrick Jackson, stands accused of robbing a credit union in Florissant and another in St. Louis on June 27, along with a credit union in Hazelwood on June 24. According to charging documents, he employed threatening notes to demand cash from tellers during each incident.

As per the criminal complaint, allegations remain unproven until judicially determined, with all defendants presumed innocent unless proven otherwise.

The investigation into these incidents involved collaboration between the FBI, Florissant Police Department, St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, and Northwoods Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul D’Agrosa is leading the prosecution.

This case falls under Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a collaborative law enforcement initiative aimed at reducing violent crime and gun violence through community engagement and strategic enforcement.
