Serious Crash in Burnsville: Investigation Underway

BURNSVILLE, MINNESOTA – The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a serious crash early Wednesday morning in Burnsville. According to the State Patrol Public Information Officer (PIO), the incident occurred just after 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning near Highway 13 and Washburn Avenue when a car struck a person and then fled the scene.

The crash involved a 24-year-old male from Shakopee, Minnesota. While his injuries are reported to be serious, they are fortunately non-life-threatening. Authorities continue to work to identify the vehicle involved in the crash and told us once this information has been obtained, they will release it to us.
