PART 2 of the CRAZY great Black Sea Bass Trip out of Virginia Beach
These two are probably my most FUN fishing videos! These guys are a blast to fish with and we got into a boat limit of really nice fish too. Make sure you check out Part 1 in my profile and follow me for a lot more great fishing videos out of Virginia Beach area. We catch a lot of fish and most importantly have a LOT OF FUN!
Crazy good seabass fishing offshore of Virginia Beach (Part 1)
This is another one of those videos that had to be broken into 2. So many fish were coming over the rail in this one it's not funny. We got a boat limit of really BIG black sea bass fishing the offshore wrecks. (We even got some cool underwater footage!) Don't forget to check out Part 2 in my Profile above!
Shad Fishing in Downtown Richmond VA
The Annual Shad run in the Richmond area is like a spring right of passage. It brings anglers from all over the area to chase these hard fighting fish. Best times to go are weekdays or in the evenings after work. It can get pretty crowded up by the I95 Bridge on a weekend day. Give this a try!
Dreamfields Spanish Mackerel Tournament - Lancaster County
The Annual Dreamfields Spanish Mackerel tournament is held to raise money for the Lancaster Little League and for their fields. It's a fun event that draws participants from all over the Chesapeake bay. This is a look of what fishing a tournament like this is like.
Donnie Leak's Christmas Display - Mechanicsville VA
Donnie puts up this amazing display every year here in Mechanicsville. He starts in August to have it ready for the Christmas season. Tens of thousands of lights and hundreds of characters from many time periods are on display. The Drone footage really shows it well.
Early Season Flounder Trip out of Cape Charles, VA
You CAN find them early if you are willing to try. The eastern shore usually get the first flounder bite and this day was no different. Check out my profile for more fun fishing videos in the lower bay and offshore of VA Beach areas
Spade fishing and flounder fishing Out of Poquoson, VA
GOT EM! We left Messick Point Boat Ramp at sunrise and got into a nice school of Spadefish at the CBBT and also some really nice Flounder. The Flounder Pounder crew was ON! Check out my Profile for a lot of great Lower bay, Virginia Beach area fishing videos and more.
Spanish Mackerel Tournament out of Lewisetta Marina for NNAC
WE WON! (And probably got the biggest fish while being broken down and TOWED!) This was the Northern Neck Anglers Club Spanish Mackerel Tournament. Spanish are not hard to catch once you know how and are a great eating, fast action fish!
Tilefish Limit & BIG Founder Offshore of VA Beach - (Part 2)
This is part 2 of the epic Tilefish trip offshore of Virginia Beach with Wreckless Sport Fishing Charters. 5 people on at a time, Shark runs, big flounder Out Takes and more. Let us know what your favorite fish to chase offshore of Virginia beach is in the comments!
Tilefish Limit & Big Flounder Offshore of VA Beach (Part 1)
This is VA Beach offshore fishing at its finest! CRAZY good Tilefishing deep drop trip with an easy limit. This trip was so good we had to split it into 2 videos! The first part is most of the Tilefish part of the trip. The 2nd will finish the tilefish limit and we'll hit a wreck for a few big flounder to cap off the fish box with.
Annual Good Ole' Boys from Franklin Flounder Tournament
This Good Ole Boys from Franklin Flounder Tournament was held in the worst weather we've ever fished! Keeter pulled of yet another great event anyway. When you see yourself or your people on here, note the time in the video and put it in the comments below to help folks find you! Share it on your FB, Twitter, etc. Chris' Bait & Tackle (Now Oceans East - Cape Charles) hosted it. This is a LONG video and is mainly for our friends on the eastern shore, so I'm sorry if our normal subscribers find it a bit to long.
Amazing Scale Train set display - Blackstone VA
PLAY FULL SCREEN! This huge O Scale model train display is at a hardware store in Blackstone, VA. There are at least 8 trains going around the tracks. Lionel, MTH, K-line and others I think. They even sound realistic. One is a Military train with tanks, helicopters, an airplane, etc, all scale models themselves, and train full of other collector items like Disney characters, the California Raisins, and many more, several scale model trains from different eras of our history. The towns and scenes are extremely detailed and well thought out. The imagination that went into each scene and craftsmanship is the best I have ever seen. Right when you think you've seen it all you spot another neat scene. I don't know enough about the trains but I know some of you will. Please feel free to leave comments about the things you spot below. Share it around and enjoy this working piece of art.
Catching BIG Cobia in the Middle Chesapeake Bay area
This was our last trip of the summer, cobia fishing with George Lichtenberger on the Diamond Rose out of Lewisetta, VA. We were fishing MD waters and managed 3 to the boat, 1 run, and one that got into the anchor rope and broke off, off camera. Great trip! If you ever get a chance to chase these incredibly strong fish, give it a try.
Sea Bass & Tilefish offshore VA Beach (SHARK BIT!)
Yep "The Tax Man" won with our biggest tile of the day offshore of Virginia Beach. We had a great day catching a ton of large sea bass and then went out for the Blueline Tilefish. These are two of the best eating fish you can catch. If you don't have a boat or the skills to go offshore consider taking one of the many Charters offered in the VA Beach area. There are some great "head boats" of course but many really great private charters that can put you on the fish in personal way and show you a great adventure offshore or inshore. Wreckless Sport Fishing can be found and followed on Facebook. Check out my profile for more local fishing videos and leave a comment on what your favorite fish to catch is.
BIG Sea Bass and Tilefish Offshore of VA Beach (Part 1)
We had a trip with some friends offshore of Virginia beach fishing the Spring Sea Bass season and going after Blueline Tilefish. This was an amazing trip with a ton of really nice BIG black sea bass! Fishing offshore of Virginia beach is great for most of the year. If you don't have a boat or the skills, consider taking one of the great charters available in the area. You can also find Wreckless Sport Fishing on Facebook.
Buzzed by Apaches at the Concrete Ships, and a Giant Sunfish
You never know what you'll see on a fishing trip. During a stop fishing the Concrete Ships off of Cape Charles on the eastern shore of VA we got buzzed by a group of Apaches! The camera does not do this justice. We could see the faces of a couple of the pilots! Very cool display. Then later in that trip we ran across an Ocean Sunfish (Mola Mola) about 70 miles offshore of Virginia Beach. This giant creature was about 1500#, had an eyeball the size of a dinner plate and was as curious about us as we were about it. You just never know what kind of cool encounters you'll have when fishing the Chesapeake Bay or offshore of Virginia Beach.
